E-Learning Plan
E-Learning days are part of the District Emergency e-Learning Plan. The goal is to provide continuity of education for students on days when school otherwise would have been canceled due to an emergency situation. An e-Learning day is an online, asynchronous learning day. On e-Learning Days, students use their district-issued Chromebooks to connect to the Learning Management System (LMS), Canvas, to access assignments for the day.
- What is considered an “emergency situation”?
- How will students “attend” school if the day is asynchronous?
- What if a student has a question or needs assistance?
- What if a student needs a mobile hotspot for Wifi?
- How can parents and families support students during an e-Learning day?
