Strategic Plan

Strategic Planning Process

A Look at the Planning Process

D219 partnered with District Management
Group (DMGroup)
, an education consulting organization, to facilitate the development
of a practical, data-informed, and
actionable strategic plan.

A Strategic Plan Working Committee, consisting of D219 leaders and staff, board members, and parents, was established to review the current strategic plan and establish a clear direction for the district moving forward.

In-depth analysis combined
quantitative data with qualitative insights.

A Phased Approach

The strategic plan was developed in four phases. These included reviewing data, gathering input from staff and community members, and carefully revising the draft until the final plan was complete.

Special Education Opportunity Review

In addition to the strategic plan, D219 collaborated with DMGroup to conduct a Special Education Opportunity Review (SEOR). This  analysis was designed to enhance the district's support systems and services for students with special needs.
