No, but activating your account gives you the ability to choose your preferred language, gives you access to see old posts, allows you to select how and when you get notifications, and so much more!

If you already use ParentSquare for another district, you do not need to create a separate account for District 219.

When you receive your District 219 ParentSquare invitation, sign in with your existing ParentSquare account. If prompted, you can combine your accounts so all of your students appear in one place.

If your District 219 student doesn't appear after signing in, you may have multiple ParentSquare accounts. This can happen if your email address, phone number, or name is different between school districts.

To combine your accounts:

1. Log in to your main ParentSquare account.
2. Click your name in upper right and select My Account.
3. Click Combine with another account.
4. If other accounts match your verified email(s) or phone(s), click Combine Accounts.
5. If the account you want doesn’t show up, click Combine Another Account and sign in with that account.
6. Choose the name you want to use, then click Combine Accounts.

Once combined, all of your students will appear in one ParentSquare account, and you can sign in using any associated email address or phone number.*

*Note: Staff must sign in with the email or phone number associated with their staff account.

Yes, students can download the StudentSquare app and log in with their school email account. Once logged in, students can enable app notifications and add their mobile number for text notifications if they wish.
