Six students from District 219 schools have been named semifinalists in the 71st annual National Merit Scholarship Program. These students are recognized for their high scores on the PSAT/NMSQT, placing them in the top 0.5% in the state of Illinois. The Class of 2026 students have the opportunity to continue in the competition for scholarships offered by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) next spring.
