Niles West Students Recognized at Model UN Conference
In November, students from Niles West High School participated in the Latin School of Chicago Model UN conference. The following students received awards:
  • Aymal Yousefzai - Outstanding Delegate in DISEC
  • Bryan Rabin - Honorable Mention and Mehul Vignesh - Outstanding Delegate in ECOFIN
  • Lucas Rosales - Outstanding Delegate in Camp David
  • Nathan Rodriguez - Outstanding Delegate in Marvel

Thirteen students who attended the conference were named Best Small Delegation.
 
As part of the conference event, students also listened to oral arguments from five legal cases and had the opportunity to speak with three appellate judges and their law clerks about what they heard.
