Niles West junior Zainab Nathani qualified for the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), a global competition that brings together high school students from more than 60 countries and regions. Nathani, who participates in Niles West’s STEM Inquiry and Research program, will present her project called “Biometric Composite Biogels for Solar-Driven Atmospheric Water Generation in Diverse Climates” at the event.

Nathani will join about 1,800 students who will compete in Phoenix, Arizona for awards and scholarships that recognize creativity, innovative thinking and scientific rigor. Students will also meet and learn from top scientists and entrepreneurs who participate in the event organized by Society for Science.
