Niles North High School Receives Design and Construction Award
Niles North High School’s addition and renovation project was recognized by the ENR Midwest Best Project Award Program for its important improvements to school facilities. Engineering News-Record (ENR) honors some of the best construction projects in the country, judged by industry leaders. District 219 staff celebrated the recognition at an awards ceremony on November 15, 2024.
The Niles North project, completed in 2023, includes a new three-story addition that spans 43,000 square feet and a 16,000-square-foot renovation. These enhancements support interactive learning and provide more resources for students.
The Niles North project included safety enhancements that benefit all students and staff while also improving the visitor experience for families and community members.
