Niles North Contributes to Holiday Toy Drive
Student athletes at Niles North High School participated in a Chicago-area toy drive to support the nonprofit organization Christmas in the Wards on December 5, 2024. As part of the organization’s partnership with CBS Chicago, a trolley collected toys for children of all ages while also highlighting exceptional athletics and activities at local high schools.

The Niles North Athletic Department contributed more than $1,200 worth of toys for children who live in low-income households. Christmas in the Wards will distribute the collected toys through the Chicago Park District.
Students representing Niles North Cheerleaders, Boys Soccer, Girls Soccer, Boys Basketball, and Boys Volleyball were interviewed by CBS Chicago to talk about their community involvement, their athletic and academic successes, and the spirit of giving in the school community at this time of year.
