Seven students from District 219 schools have been named semifinalists in the 70th annual National Merit Scholarship Program. The Class of 2025 students have the opportunity to continue in the competition for scholarships that are offered by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) in the spring.

Niles Township High School D219 semifinalists are:

Jack J. Jaminski, Niles North High School

Anthony C. Mui, Niles West High School

Jonathan H. Nguyen, Niles West High School

Dev M. Shah, Niles North High School

Ella G. Sorkin, Niles North High School

Andrew J. Thompson, Niles West High School
