We are pleased that Niles West construction activity is moving ahead as scheduled. During spring break, there will be significant changes to campus access. Here’s what you need to know when classes resume on Monday, March 31.
Drop-off and Pick-up Locations
Access to the Niles West campus will change beginning March 31, 2025. Vehicles that are picking up or dropping off students should follow signage and traffic control directions as indicated on the campus map and video available on the Niles West Construction page.
Oakton St. Access
- Parents/guardians and other visitors will access the campus via Oakton Street only (east Oakton at Menard or west Oakton near the football field).
- Follow the roundabout at either Oakton entrance to drop off students. No right turn will be allowed out of the roundabout.
- Student entry and exit from east Oakton - Doors 6 and 7
- Student entry and exit from west Oakton - Door 24
Gross Point Rd. Access
- Only buses and staff will access the campus via Gross Point Rd.
- Buses drop off students at Door 13 to enter the building.
Bus Service
All students are welcome and encouraged to use the school bus service as a free transportation option to help ensure that you safely arrive at school on time and to minimize traffic congestion near the Niles West campus. Students who live within 1.5 miles of Niles West are also eligible for bus services. For information about bus routes and schedules, please visit our bus services page.
