We are excited to celebrate our Class of 2026 graduates in May 2026! We look forward to a memorable event for our graduates, their families, friends, and D219 staff.

Graduation ceremony date and time

• Niles North graduation will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2026. 
   
• Niles West graduation will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026. 

Graduation location

Graduation ceremonies will be held at Northwestern University’s Welsh-Ryan Arena in Evanston. This indoor facility is fully staffed and has more than 7,000 seats, including wheelchair-accessible seating on every level. Complete graduation ceremony information will be available at a later date. 

Parking and accommodations

The venue has free parking available for guests. There are elevators and accessible restrooms throughout the building. The facility also has sophisticated video, audio and lighting features with enhanced wireless connectivity. Graduation ceremonies will be livestreamed for anyone viewing the event remotely.
 
Additional considerations

The exam schedule for seniors will be adjusted to accommodate the graduation schedule. More information will be shared by your school’s Grade 12 Assistant Principal as the dates get closer.
