The first day of school for students is on Tuesday, August 13, 2024
Students will follow a Half Day Schedule. Dismissal is at 12:30 pm.

- School Calendar: View and download the District Website Calendar for important dates throughout the school year, including non-attendance days and late start dates.
- Residency
- As a reminder, families must verify residency before the first day of school. Please visit the Registration and Residency pages for details. The online residency portal is open.
- District teams are also available at Niles North and Niles West to help with your residency verification.
- School Fees
- School fees for the 2024-25 school year are waived, with the following exceptions: Behind-the-Wheel ($450) and School Parking ($300) fees.
Join Us for Family Night on August 12, 2024, 5:00-7:30 pm
District 219 will host a back-to-school event at Niles North High School. Special guest José M. Hernández, an astronaut, author, and NASA engineer, will share his journey of achieving his lifelong dream to fly in space.
