Niles Township High Schools
Community and Family Engagement
The D219 Communications Department works to strengthen relationships between our schools and the community by helping connect parents and families to opportunities that support student success. Through community partnerships and outreach, we also foster meaningful engagement that extends beyond the classrooms.

Culture and Language Resources
Families have access to a range of culture and language resources to support their students’ academic journeys. Resources include Family Liaisons, parent groups, community partners and the D219 Language Access Plan. The D219 Language Access Plan is grounded in Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Americans with Disabilities Act. These laws require school districts to provide meaningful access for students and adults who communicate in a language other than English.

Community Resources
D219 partners with a variety of organizations that offer resources to support student success.

Alumni Information
D219 fosters positive relationships with alumni by creating and supporting opportunities to connect.

Parent Groups
