OPEN CAMPUS FORMS:  Are available  for parents to read and sign at the Security

Desk in the front lobby.  As always, students MUST read the revised rules and sign form in the

JOB SHADOW CAREER EXPLORATION SIGN-UP IS AVAILABLE!

JUNIORS & SENIORS:  Interested in participating in an opportunity to spend time with a business professional to learn about their daily job and responsibilities?  Then discover the possibilities by applying for District 219's Job Shadow Career Exploration Program which will kick-off on Thursday, Oct. 21st and Thursday, Nov. 4th.  The online student application can be found by clicking on the school's homepage, then clicking on 'STUDENTS' then clicking on "EDUCATION TO CAREERS"  then click "JOB SHADOW APPLICATION".  Deadline to apply for the first round of shadowing is Friday, Sept. 17th.  For more info, contact Lisa Edelson, Education To Careers Coordinator at lisede@niles219.0rg

 

JUNIOR & SENIOR GIRLS!  Are you ready for this year's POWDERPUFF GAME??  In order to participate you must bring a signed permission slip to the MANDATORY POWDERPUFF MEETING on Wednesday in the Codell Commons at 7:30 am or 3:30 pm.  If you didn't get a permission slip in homeroom, stop by the Student Activities office before the 15th!!                                              Mary Fahy

SENIOR NIGHT for Seniors & their Parents will be held on Thursday, Sept. 16th at 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm in the auditorium.                                                                                                               Jodie Faltynski 

 

DISTRICT 219 WILL BE HOSTING STANFORD, UCLA, AND CALTECH ON SUNDAY, SEPT. 19TH

AT 2:00 PM IN THE AUDITORIUM.   The event is called "California Dreaming".  These universities

DO YOU LIKE TO WATCH MOVIES?  Have an opinion about what makes a movie good or bad?  Want to share your ideas about film-making?  Want to learn about the film making process? THEN

the NILES NORTH FILM CLUB IS FOR YOU!    We will be having our first meeting on Thursday,

 Sept. 16th after school in 1100 from 3:30 - 4:30 pm.  We will be discussing what the rest of the year will look like and assign club officers.  We will try and meet every OTHER Thursday.  All are welcome!
