Physics Phrenzy, a Physics Open House, will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, March 23 at Niles North High School, 9800 North Lawler, Skokie. Physics Phrenzy is aimed at middle school-aged children to demonstrate scientific principles in ways that are “phantastic” and, yes, phun!  Youth and adults will be encouraged to explore, learn and have fun with science. Over 60 Niles North physics students, dubbed Team Phantastic, will be on hand to assist with over 25 stations so children can explore: standing on a liquid, shooting smoke rings, standing on lit light bulbs and riding on a hovercraft. An “explore it further” sheet will be provided for participants to continue the science at home. This free event is open to the community.
